We live in times of great awakening.  As humans on the planet we are also expected to  respond to the Wake-up call of the universe.  Awakening urges us to step out of the world of illusion, let go of the ego and embrace our oneness with the universe.  In other words, we can find ourselves prompted to acknowledge that there is a spiritual side to our nature.  The Awakening is the call to practice living in alignment with the spiritual aspects of our being.

We are eternal spirits trapped inside human bodies. It often takes a wake-up call to prompts us to recognize, not just believe, that there is a sacred life force dwelling inside that yearns to be set free.  For some it is that moment of recognition that tells us that there is, in fact, more to life than meets the eye.

The beginning stages of the awakening process has many layers.  These are experienced in many ways. The “call” can rise amid the search for answers to internal questions. The yearning for peace, tranquility, happiness and/or serenity in our lives.  Then, of course, there are those life-changing, defining moments that drive us to inner seeking. Often, they bring us to that powerful realization that there is a unified universe and that we are all parts of its loving, and life-giving structure.

Sometimes awakening can take the shape of a life-threatening emergency that initiates a major shift in consciousness.  My own awakening occurred after a near death experience that changed my life forever and brought me to a fulfilling, purpose driven life.  However, the good news is that one does not have to engage the dying proves to awaken. There are processes and spiritually based life coaching that can take you safely through the process of awakening.

So, what are the signs and symptoms of awakening?

  1. Questions, lots of them – Who am I? Why am I here? What is my purpose?
  2. Self-discovery, the need for sincere evaluation of your belief systems.
  3. A distinct and resounding call to service.
  4. Becoming more emphatic; more intuitive.
  5. Experiencing more and more de ja vu moments.
  6. Begin to easily sense lack of authenticity, (that self-serving part of our human nature) and downright manipulation.
  7. Teachers begin to find you.
  8. An urge to spend more and more time in nature. A sense of excitement/discovery.

There are natural phases and stages within the process of awakening.  One major aspect is the urge to be quiet and listen to that wee, small inner voice.  Here, the statement “Be still and know” becomes a very useful tool in our daily spiritual practice. If you let it, the awakening will take you to that sacred place within to uncover the practice of discipline that is in tune with the life force within.

You are urged to take your passion and make the awakening happen. When we allow the wake- up process to unfold our lives become richer, happier and we are able to find the true meaning of life as well as our sacred Divine purpose.  If have questions, send me an e-mail I’ll answer as many as I can.

Sending you Peace and an abundance of blessings

I am Norma
